The staff were so friendly and the food was great, they had a DJ on and there was a cool electric darts set up. Inside and outside seating and more seating on first floor with a large covered and heated balcony.
Had a lovely lunch at Wax with a selection of small plates to share the food was done well, served in good time, nice and hot and tasty so it ticked all the boxes for a bit of lunch with a nice view in the sun. We walked there from Newquay along the beaches at low tide so had earned a beer and some food. Certainly better value than the 22 taxi back. Staff were good, plenty of outside seating. There is local car parks so a drive here is trouble free. Would certainly go back.
Wow what a lovely experience. Food was beautiful but the thing that really stood out was the service by our servers a gentleman and Lucy. Lucy really stood out, making the time to talk to us, talking to us about the local area. And relating to us as younger guests not from the local area, me and my sister really enjoyed her company. Exceptional, I will be returning if I ever make it back to Cornwall. Thank you for making our stay!

Fabulous food and great service. We also enjoyed 2 for 12 pina coladas this evening. Watergate bay beach front restaurants are expensive, but this was very reasonably priced and will go again.
Great place with a good view of the bay. Food was delicious, fresh and excellent value compared to the rest of the options. The outside deck is both covered and open which allows for all weather will definitely be going back.
Went for food on father's day evening with our two year old daughter , food was great as was the the service, plentiful portions and kids meal was good too fresh cod bites, huge selection of burgers , we tried pulled pork and a classic both were delicious , amazing views out across watergate bay , not push chair friendly lots of steps but would recommend for sure
Had a lovely meal here, the food was really tasty with gosport sizes and such a lovely atmosphere! There was good music playing and the staff were all really friendly! I had the Bay burger which was delicious as were the chips it came with. Say outside watching all the surfers come and go from the carpark.
